Common Repairs/Maintenance

Any work that doesn't fall under a fixed rate will be billed at $70per hour ($1.17 Per minute). Any work or replacement parts beyond the scope of the fixed rate will be communicated to and require approval from the customer.

Basic Setup

$75

Includes restring (price of strings not included). Cleaning, tightening, lubrication, repair of all parts and surfaces. Neck relief, intonation, action, bridge radius, nut inspection and repair. Inspection and maintenance of all electronic components and wiring. Pickups balanced.

Restring

Bridge repair/Replacement

Price includes installation of a new bridge and does not include the price of the bridge. A setup is strongly recommended after a bridge replacement (Price not included)

Price includes full solid color with matte or flat finish. Setup is included in the price of the refinish.

Electronics

Diagnosis/Repair

Includes full disassembly, cleaning and testing of all electrical components.

Archtop guitar with no rear access (Add $35)
Any repair after diagnosis is subject to communication with and approval from the customer.

Pickup Replacement

Price includes replacement of one 2 conductor pickup (Not including the price of the pickup).

For 2 Pickups (Add $30)

For coil splitting (Add $15 per Pickup)

Control Cavity Shielding

To reduce hum, choose between shield paint or tape.

Add shielding to single coil pickups (Add $30)

Fret Work

A Basic setup is required after any fret work and is not included in the price of the fret work

Full Fret Level

$150

Includes leveling, radius, beveling and polishing of each fret.

Partial Fret Level

Frets will be assessed for wear in relation to each other and only those that require levelling will be levelled.

Price is for each fret that is levelled.

Fret Edge Dress

Frets will be edge, beveled and polished.

Full Refret (Unbound neck)

All frets will be pulled out, the fret board will be leveled and radiused and new fret wire installed.

Partial Refret (Unbound Neck)

Frets will be assessed, removed and replaced on an individual basis. All frets will be levelled, radiused, beveled and polished.

Pickguards

Includes installation of common pickguard styles (Strat, Tele, Jag, etc) where new holes don't need to be drilled. Price does not include the cost of the pickguard.
